My trailer has one hydraulic function and one hydraulic jack. When parked the hydraulic jack drifts down over time. What can be done to cure this issue? Answer: If no oil is leaking from the jack and the circuit is properly bled, the oil must have an internal leak path back to the HPU tank. Replacement / examination of the hydraulic power unit is recommended.

My trailer has one hydraulic function and two hydraulic jacks. When parked one hydraulic jack drifts down over time making the trailer crooked left to right. What can be done to cure this issue? Answer: If no oil is leaking from the jacks and the circuit is properly bled, the oil is probably leaking to the opposite side jack. In other words, one jack is going up and one is going down. This can happen even with a flow divider in the circuit. Check the oil level in the tank carefully. If the excess oil is ending up in the tank, then there is an internal leak path back to the HPU tank. Replacement / examination of the hydraulic power unit is recommended.

My trailer has two hydraulic functions (hoist and tongue jack). When parked the hydraulic jack drifts down over time. What can be done to cure this issue? Answer: If the trailer is equipped with a selector (aka diverter) valve which allows one pump to power two different functions, the common suspect is the diverter valve and how much leakage that particular valve has from port to port. Replacement / examination of the diverter is recommended.

I have hydraulic fluid leaking onto the foot of the hydraulic jack. What is the issue? Answer: Check inside the top of the jack carefully using a powerful flashlight. Look for a leaky hydraulic connection that may need to be tightened or a hose that is damaged. If needed all of the hydraulic plumbing and fittings are sold as a single kit. If the top end appears dry pull the bottom pin and foot while supporting the inner tube up off the ground. Using a powerful flashlight look upward at the rod end of the cylinder checking for leaks. The cylinder is sold as a replacement part if needed.

My self-contained hydraulic jack (HJ-15008) has a pump that will not run both ways or not at all. Answer: Check for poor electrical connections and battery charge. If needed the entire power unit, including the HPU housing box, is available as a replacement item. If solenoid is suspected that part is available as a replacment.

My round tube (EJ-3575 model) electric jack only runs one way or the light stays on. What do I do? Answer: Check for proper grounding. If the issue continues, discuss with where you directly purchased it for warranty or replacement.

My round tube electric jack doesn’t work. What do I do? Answer: See above installation guides for the specific electric jack you have. Trouble shooting tips are available there. Typical issue is the jack is probably not grounded a trailer. Check that first.
